We are pleased to celebrate the launch of our latest tailor-made app built for Blessed Sacrament, the biggest Catholic Primary School in the North of England.

The school, which is located in Liverpool, recognised that it needed a more forward-thinking, simple-to-use and cost-effective platform to engage with the parents of its’ 840 pupils. As other techniques such as text messaging services were too limited in terms of how many messages could be sent and to whom, whilst the cost of printing paper-based materials would have been pretty excessive for a school with so many pupils!

These methods of communicating with parents are also remarkably out-dated and have a key fundamental flaw in that they become immediately useless if pupils’ parents change their contact details without notifying the school! Unlike mobile apps which enable schools to save time and money as push notifications allow staff to send unlimited messages to parents, whilst booking, consent and change of contact details forms, as well as absent reporting provides parents with the ability to submit and update information electronically which is sent directly to the school.

Headteacher, Mr C.Davey commented “We are really excited to launch our new app which we are confident will help us to save time, money and in addition work together with parents to help motivate and inspire all of the children in our care, based around their individual needs and uniqueness.”

Kevin Clayton, Managing Director of Parent Apps, who has produced over 86 mobile apps for Merseyside schools, said “I’m delighted to have helped Blessed Sacrament in developing and producing an app that will support them in achieving their goals of further developing and improving their communication with parents. Not only will their new mobile app help them to save time and money, but it’ll also help the parents of their pupils’ to become more actively involved in their children’s learning which is fundamental in raising the attainment level of their pupils.”
